Weite Helps Indonesian APOL to Upgrade the Safety of 80T Dredger

Recently, Weite has made new progress in the Indonesian project, installing the A700 load moment indicator system on an 80T dredger owned by APOL in Indonesia. As a key equipment of APOL in the field of marine engineering, this dredger undertakes important tasks such as dredging of port channels and offshore reclamation. Its operating environment is complex and changeable, and the safety and stability of the equipment are extremely high. The addition of Weite A700 load moment indicator system undoubtedly puts a solid "safety armor" on the dredger.

This 80T dredger is a "giant" of offshore operations built by APOL at a great expense. It uses the world's leading dredging technology and is equipped with high-powered dredging equipment, which can efficiently dredge a large amount of silt in a short time. Its dredging capacity is outstanding, and it can easily handle both hard sediments in deep sea areas and soft silt in offshore shallows. In terms of usage, it has made great contributions to Indonesia's infrastructure construction. 1. Real-time and accurate monitoring: The A700 LMI is like the "smart brain" of the dredger. Through a high-precision sensor network, it can collect multiple key data such as lifting weight, amplitude, angle, and wind speed in the working environment in real time.

2. Ease of operation: Weite fully considers the actual needs of operators and designs a simple and intuitive human-computer interaction interface for the A700 system. The large-screen LCD displays the equipment operating parameters and status information in real time with pictures and texts, which is clear at a glance.

3. Intelligent early warning mechanism: The system has preset scientific and reasonable early warning thresholds. Once it monitors that the actual operating parameters are close to or reach the critical value that may cause danger, the sound and light alarm system will be activated immediately.

4. Automatically limit action: When the torque during operation reaches the preset danger threshold, the A700 system will take decisive action to automatically cut off the power source moving in the unsafe direction.

Weite dispatched senior engineer to the Indonesian site to record every operation link and equipment operating parameters in detail, and to gain an in-depth understanding of the force characteristics, movement amplitude and operating habits of the dredger under different working conditions. The system debugging stage is the ultimate test of the installation results. The technicians started the dredger and simulated various actual working conditions.
