The Heihe River is the second largest inland river in my country. It originates from Beilong in the Qilian Mountains and flows through the three provinces of Qinghai, Gansu, and Inner Mongolia. The total basin area is 112,900 square kilometers, and the total length of the Heihe River mainstream is 928 kilometers.

Sandaowan Hydropower Station is located in the middle section of the upper reaches of the main stream of the Heihe River in Sunan County and Qilian County, Gansu Province, at the northern foot of the Qilian Mountains. It has a total installed capacity of 112MW and an average annual power generation of 400.3 million KWh. The Sandaowan Hydropower Station has a very small storage capacity and only has a daily adjustment capacity.

In April, our Weite workers came to Gansu Zhangye Hexi Hydropower Sandaowan Power Station at an altitude of 2,600 meters. At that time, snowflakes were still falling on the mountain and the apricot blossoms were in full bloom. We inspected the normal spillway and extraordinary spillway of the Sandaowan Dam. , the flood discharge and sand drainage tunnel gate remote control system was renovated and a 6-kilometer remote optical fiber was installed. In order to ensure the normal operation of the gate before the flood season, we worked overtime to complete the project perfectly within the planned construction period.

When the apricots matured, our gate remote control technology transformation and sand drainage hole opening system transformation were successfully completed, which also verified the harvest results of our Weite people.
