WTAU Director Nie Daojing visit the Yellow River hydropower users

From October 11 to October 15, the general manager Nie Daojing made a investigation and research for Yellow River part of the hydropower station accompanied by the investigation manager, and  they had a meeting with the power station related person, and to understand the current situation and demand of the hoist equipment used in power plant, to grasp the trend of the future development of the hydropower industry in the future, and grasp the current situation of the industry.

On October 11th, Nie came to Guide County in Qinghai Province, the Laxiwa hydropower is the biggest installed capacity of the upper reaches of the Yellow River station. The head of Mr Liu, Mr Wang and other major leaders met Mr Nie and had a discussion .Two sides expressed appreciation for the cooperation, and hoped that the WTAU can provide better quality products and service, and look forward to more in-depth cooperation.

Laxiwa Hydropower Station is located in Qinghai province of the Yellow River River, is the second large cascade hydropower stations from the upper reaches of the Yellow River Longyangxia to Qingtongxia river. The maximum dam height of Rasiva hydropower station is 250 meters, the normal water storage level of the reservoir is 2452 meters, the total storage capacity is 1 billion 56 million cubic meters, and the total installed capacity of the 6 units is 4 million 200 thousand KW, and the annual average generating capacity is 10 billion 223 million kwh. Laxiwa hydropower station is the largest hydropower station and clean energy base in the Yellow River. In 2009, the first batch of power plant units put into operation; in 2010, the five units power plant of the Laxiwa Hydropower Station are fully connected to the grid.

On the afternoon of November 11th, at the end of the on-the-spot investigation of the Laxiwa Hydropower Station, Nie came to visit the Nina hydropower station.

Mr Nie came to there accompanied by Mr Feng and Mr Song to see the crest and tail gate machine, which installed the hydraulic grasping beam underwater video system by WTAU. Director Chen of Power station maintenance department said that since the used my company's underwater video equipment, solved the problems that have plagued many years.

Nina Hydropower Station is located in the Yellow River in Qinghai Province, far from the upstream Laxiwa hydropower dam site 8.6km. Nina hydropower station design of the normal water level is 2235.5 meters, crest elevation is 2238.2 meters, the maximum dam height is 50.9 meters, the total capacity is 0.22 billion m3, the power plant installed four single capacity of 40,000 KW bulb tubular unit, the total installed capacity is 160MW.

On October 13th, Nie came to the third station of the research trip - Longyangxia hydropower station. Manager Song of Longyangxia power generation company warmly welcomed Mr Nie. Nie expressed thanks to Mr Song for teaching and encouragement.

Longyangxia hydropower station is the first large-scale cascade hydropower stations in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, located between the Republic of Qinghai province and Guide County of the the Yellow River River Power Station Dam, 178 meters high, 1226 meters long dam (the main dam 396 meters long, 23 meters wide), formed an artificial reservoir area is 383 square kilometers, storage capacity is 24 billion 700 million cubic meters. Power plant is 320 thousand kilowatts, the total installed capacity is 1 million 280 thousand kilowatts of power generation in Longyangxia hydropower station, it also has the benefits of flood control, irrigation, aquaculture etc..

After the trip of the Yellow River hydropower station,Mr Nie thinks too much: the Yellow River is the mother of the Chinese people, and also is WTAU company's "mother river." WTAU can’t develop without the support of Yellow River hydropower.
