Since the start of construction, the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge has always been a hot spot of public attention. "Which step is the construction of the project, and when will it be completed?" With the completion of the construction of the bridge's 136 super-long and super-large pile group foundations on the water, it is one step closer to completion and opening to traffic.

The bridge construction site is constructed by multiple tower cranes at the same time, and the distance between the tower cranes is relatively close. When the tower crane operator or on-site commander has incomplete information acquisition, it is easy for the tower crane to collide with the arms, causing safety accidents.

This time, the tower crane anti-collision system equipped by Weite Technologies for the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge construction site can use radar to detect objects within 30 meters of the boom, and can alarm and stop the tower crane within the set distance range. It can realize intelligent protection of tower crane safe operation.

When two tower cranes are at the same height, the crane booms may collide with each other, and the anti-collision system can send an alarm signal when the crane booms approach, reminding the operator to operate carefully.

Crane boom and Crane Base collision

When the two tower cranes are not at the same height, the crane boom of the low tower crane may collide with the crane base of the high tower crane. The anti-collision system can send an alarm signal when the crane boom of the low tower crane approaches the crane base of the high tower crane, reminding the operator to operate carefully.

Tower crane boom area protection

The tower crane boom can be restricted from entering certain specific areas to prevent the crane boom from colliding with stationary obstacles such as buildings and utility poles.

At the same time, it can also prevent the collision between the crane boom and the wire rope and protect the hook area.

The cranes operating on the construction site of the bridge are generally relatively high, and it is difficult for the operator's cab to observe the on-site situation in the hoisting area. It can only rely on manual voice commands to complete the operation, which has the problems of high operational risk and low work efficiency.

Errors and other problems, while improving work efficiency and reducing labor costs.
